THE GREAT APOSTACY
ESCHATOLOGY
Eschatology is the study of the events described in the prophetic texts of the christian scriptures. As many religions as there are in the world, Christianity is the only religion with a proven track record of the prophetic word spoken by God to have been fulfilled. the majority of religions don't even have prophetic texts to refer to. As we live out our lives in this century that is quickly approaching it's climax - we need to be more vigilant than ever. Prophecy gives hope and courage and being a witness to it's fulfillment will bring joy and strengthen our faith in God. The Holy Bible is approximately 27% of prophecy; much of prophecy is concerning the covenant people of Israel through whom Jesus Christ had to come to redeem mankind from eternal death. the other prophecies are concerning judgements of the surrounding nations of Israel. But a very large portion of prophecy is concerning the end of days that we call eschatology. This page is an attempt to piece together and chronologically arrange the the prophetic words concerning he approaching day of the Lord. The closer we approach the day of the Lord the more clear these matters will become to us who are believers. It is important to note that prophetic events are not listed chronologically throughout the bible books, in the individual books and even individual chapters. It requires discernment of the text and times referred to to piece together.
But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. (1 Thessalonians 5:1-6)
FALSE CHRISTS
Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?” And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. (Matthew 24:3-8)
Deception is a purposeful misleading of someone from the truth to their exploitation or destruction. In our age of exponential information and knowledge increase there is also a surge in deceptions. Deceptions have always been around throughout history but in the last days there is an large increase in this just as with everything else. One of the biggest issues is the exploitation of people through the use of God's word by evil people. There were deceptions even in the early churches to whom the letters were written by the apostles to correct their doctrinal concepts. Faith defines our behavior and if our doctrines are not aligned with the word of God there is a real danger of being misled into lies and in a result mislead others away from the truth, away from true faith and away from salvation.
Some of the earliest false Christs already appeared in the first century and more claims of self proclaimed Christs have re-emerged in the 18th century and continues till this day. These false Christ claims will continue to emerge until the Antichrist will reveal himself to the naive public who will accept him as Christ.
Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. (2 Thessalonians 2:1-4)
SPIRITUAL PERVERSION
As we approach the day of the LORD we have been seeing a revival and repackaging of cults, mystery religions, a denial of spiritual reality and a great apostasy of Christianity. All old religions stem from satanic perversion of the truth to lead people astray from the straight path to God. We are made in the image of God Who is the creator - so we too have a capacity to create. Satan and his companions are not made in God's image and therefore do not have the ability to create anything new - but only to distort and to pervert that which God has made. Satan hates God and everything he created - especially mankind made in God's image. Just as Satan (meaning: adversary) deceived Adam and Eve in the very beginning - he has been deceiving all generations into everything that can lead people into damnation. Given the prophetic word of God about the messiah being born of a virgin - there are other mystery religions that have adopted this concept into their religion before Jesus Christ was even born. A preemptive strike on humanity.
A religion is a set of principles that explains a spiritual reality, a voluntary commitment to a lifestyle that promises people a life after death. Adherents to a religion are free to enter it or leave it if they chose to do so with no retaliation against their decision. Such religions are: Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism, Bahá'i, Confucianism and Sikhism. Speech and critical thought is allowed and encouraged, open to all, cultivates a culture of skill for life and promotes family.
A cult is very similar; it is a set of principles that explains a spiritual reality, but often this is a forced commitment to a lifestyle that promises people a life after death or promises benefits in this life at an expense of their soul. Such cults are: Satanism, Islam, Mormonism, Freemasonry, Kabbalah, Gnosticism, Scientology, New Age and even some organizations associated with Christianity. Questioning the leaders and seeking information from outside sources is strictly forbidden or strongly discouraged, spread by force or deception, isolates members and strongly retaliates against apostasy to a point of death.
Islam is another great example of a cult that was presented to humanity from the devil by force; by a so called angel (messenger) that physically forced Muhammad to accept the Quran. He was deceived by the devil and his lust for power to propagate it across the middle east and across the globe at a cost of millions of lives, eradicating cultures and destroying the environment they occupy. Islam is a perversion of the word of God for a totalitarian regime that enforces socialism, to justifies slavery and imposes death. May the truth of God's word lead many more to the true God.
A temple is a place consecrated for God's presence to abide in. Satan used this principle to corrupt into other structures where the one worshiped would be an idol or unclean spirit. God gave Moses instructions to build a tabernacle where He would visit Moses to give instructions (Torah) to be taught to the people. Some time later this was changed into a larger structure - a temple. After Jesus Christ has come to atone for our sins, died, rose again, ascended into heaven - He sent the Holy Spirit to all His believers so that their bodies become temple for His Spirit to abide in. Many places of worship today claim to be authentic places of worship, but these are all false given their purpose is not intended to worship the only true God as He sees it worthy.
Prayer is a sacred tool that God has given mankind to appeal to God. Satan is has corrupted this into communion with the dead and evil spirits in such formats as: Mediumship, necromancy, spiritism, witchcraft, meditation and channeling.
Prophecy is divine revelation from God to be applied to this reality, information of the past present or the future. Satan has distorted this into abominable forms such as: ouija boards, scrying, Tarrot cards and palm reading. Even some versions of Chat GPT were dedicated to ancient gods in secret rituals to allow spirits to converse with living people. This is now referred to as "digital necromancy".
Miracles happen when God overrides the natural order in His divine mercy and sovereignty to help people overcome obstacles in physical and spiritual reality. Satan has perverted this aspect of reality into other forms to mimic miracles but never to the extent to alter reality in a life giving or permanent way: illusions, sorcery (vision boards, manifesting), psychiatry and psychology hacks to manipulate the minds and bodies of people, Reiki, Yoga, science (used to alter reality), medicine and drugs (pharmakea) used to alter the health and minds of living beings, hallucinogens and narcotics to connect mankind to the spiritual dimension. These tools are able to open spiritual barriers that God has placed for our protection.
Inspiration was God's way to guide people into truth, life and freedom from sin. We are created in God's image to be compatible to have God's Holy Spirit living within us. People who allow or seek contact with evil spirits open themselves to demonic influence, harassment, possessions and infestations. Those beings will claim to be ascended masters, reincarnated persons, loved ones, important historic or bible figures and even angels (messengers) of God. Some people have testified that these beings have ability to manifest themselves in physical tangible form and interact with physical reality. Especially recently there has been a rise in supernatural objects in the sky that defy the natural order in it's behavior.
APOSTACY

But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! (2-Timothy 3:1-5)
“What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him? For You have made him a little lower than the angels, And You have crowned him with glory and honor. You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet,” (Psalm 8:4-6) We are made in God’s image – to govern His creation with Him, but because of our fallen nature –it is now sin that governs the world and interferes with God. The more governing authority or power a person attains the bigger impact that person is able to achieve.
MORAL PERVERSION
One of the greatest indications of the last days is great moral perversion as it was in the day of Noah. "Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually." - (Genesis 6:3-5). .....The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. We learn from Genesis story that God destroyed the world with water where only Noah's family remained with the animals (1-Peter 3:20) to replenish the earth. God established a covenant of life signified by the rainbow that He will no longer destroy life on the earth with water (Genesis 9:12-17). But mankind that is corrupted by sin will have another day of judgement in the last days and this time God will cleanse the earth with fire: "...both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up" - (2-Peter 3:10). "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, high minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away." - (2 Timothy 3:1-5). This moral degradation not only affects the general public but also penetrates into churches and Godly families who are pursuing a holy life. (1-Corinhians 5:11). We see a demonstration of this in the story of Lot where God burned cities of corruption and perversion to the ground.
Moral corruption is rampant in the last days fueled by corruption in the governing bodies thus creating artificial shortages of basic human needs and this creates chaos.

Health industry exploits disease for financial gain and power. Cures are suppressed to keep health institutions in business and this perpetuates death and suffering.

Corruption in the food industry that knowingly uses harmful ingredients that cause health complications.

Physical activity and sport meant for health and discipline turned into idolatry and passing of time in vain.

Financial institutions and governments exploiting the public for financial gain and power. This destroys living means through inflation and harvests the labor of the working class for printed fake money.

Education meant for prosperity and thriving is replaced by useless knowledge; indoctrination to submit to the state and destroy faith in God through evolution.

Suppression of historical and documented truth to promote a godless world view.

Celebration of holy days turned into business opportunities and eroding the meaning they hold.

Media generating lies instead of delivering the truth. News is filtered and manipulated to fit an elite agenda. The suppression of truth through violence and corruption in favor of spreading lies, rumors and gossip.

Film and music industry allows insults of God's name for entertainment.
We see a demonstration of this in the story of Lot where God burned cities of corruption and perversion to the ground.
SEXUAL PERVERSION
Sexuality is something God has given humanity to propagate the future generations and multiply the image of God throughout His creation. This most holy attribute of human nature is under attack to disable reproduction of God's image though: attack on Christian values, psychological disorders, immorality in music and cinema, homosexuality, pornography, transgender ideology, propaganda of global over population, hypnosis in advertising, indoctrination of children into perversion of sexuality. The rainbow is a symbol of God's justice for sin that was destroyed in the word wide flood and is a reminder of His merciful covenant for life. This symbol was perverted into a symbol of immorality an insult to God. Imposing perversion upon the children thus misleading them into destruction instead of guiding them to reason and life. Jesus said: "It is impossible that no offenses should come, but woe to him through whom they do come! It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones" - (Luke 17:1-2) Sexual promiscuity, feminism that destroys masculinity and reason, economic sabotage of the public to make raising a family unaffordable, destruction of trust among people. Marriage as a means to procreate turned into a self gratifying contract of abomination and without potential of child bearing. Releasing violent offenders to propagate violence for profit off selling security; no-fault divorces that enable destruction of marriage. Protection of innocent lives is corrupted by aborting babies from lack of commitment and cruelty that destroy the next generation; sterilizing agents in food and other products, sterilizing substances released into the natural environment.
We are even at a point where people voluntarily sterilize themselves and pay money for it; sterilizing contraceptives, and many other means to suppress the drive and opportunity to have a family and healthy relationships. With the means of the internet this sexual perversion spreads faster and further than it ever could have. As we approach the day of the LORD we will see a continual increase in sexual perversion. As history repeats itself we can see the same sins not only being revived in the everyday culture but praised, rewarded, promoted and multiplied. "And the Lord said, “Because the outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grave," - (Genesis 20:18). The wickedness of the five cities was so great that God would spare the city of Sodom even for the sake of ten righteous yet there were not even that many in such a large city (Genesis 20:32-33). The two angels came in to the city the get Lot and his family out and the evil men of the city threatened them with perverse violence (Genesis 19:5). The angels defended Lot and led him and his family out of the city where after God rained down sulfur and brimstone on it, thus destroying them fully (Genesis 19:23) and they remain uninhabited until this day. See image below: this is the fate of all those who perverse that which God has created good and true to enable the propagation of life.
PHYSICAL PERVERSION
And the Lord said, “My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, for he is indeed flesh; yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years. There were giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown. So God looked upon the earth, and indeed it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth....- (Genesis 6:11-13). We do not know if there were any genetic engineering in the days of Noah but whatever they were advancing their technologies in corrupted the human race beyond repair.
"And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay." - (Daniel 2:43). In the book of Daniel there is a hint that in the later times of the last world kingdom there will be an attempt to mingle the seed of mankind with machine. Trans humanism and genetic engineering are ideas to improve on the human condition of mortality. The intent may be to promote life and health but because of sin living within human nature it perverts this into a system to corrupt the human race. The merging of nanotechnology and robotics to create nanobots that could "enhance" the human race will serve the political agenda to own the bodies and enslave the minds of all those participants. Another form of slavery could be the unwilling modification of DNA through nano particles and genetic information that would be required to participate in everyday society. A modified human genome would be considered the property of those who mandated it thus stripping the people of their rights. This is a strive for a technological utopia of control and surveillance in pursuit of corporate greed and lust for total power.

God’s healing through His word was replaced by psychology - inspired by the psychics and channelers of demonic spirits. Temple worship turned to secret organizations and cults. Church of God corrupted by greed and pride for fame and power. Music to worship God turned to praise of menkind and idolatry. The Law of God that would ensure order and protect life is corrupted by greed, bribery and hypocrisy. Law enforced by threat to life and threat to freedoms instead of love and comparison. Family union of man and woman perverted to homosexual contracts. Unconditional love turned to conditional business commitment leading to divorce as a legal option. Family roles of men and women corrupted by the culture, media and those in power. True love and intimacy are replaced by instant gratification through adultery and immorality leading to broken relationships. The corrupted family unit increases crime and government control.
Although this seems very dramatic it is only one side of the perspective of the last days. All of these are the signs of increasing moral perversion that will only escalate until the day of the LORD. Those who are still faithful and alive in that time will have God keeping them from such evils through the word of God and His power. Jesus said in His prayer: "I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one." - (John 17:15)

PERVERSION
"1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth." (2-Timothy 3:1-7)
God reveals that in the last days perversion will abound and increase. Just as it was in the days of Noah and in the days of Lot. And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. (Genesis 6:5) In our modern world moral perversion continues to intensify, become tolerated and even rewarded. Our educational institutions fail to educate, news media carries misinformation, film and music industries indoctrinate the masses with propaganda, projects vain fantasy continually sell vanity in exchange for people's health, mind, time and life purpose. Government agencies controlled by corporations sabotage their own cultures, injustice brings civil unrest. Promiscuity driven by feminism and satanic orders inevitably destroy the nuclear family unit and separate generations. At the same time they are working to mix all nations to destroy homogeneous distinct cultures which God had separated at the tower of Babel. (Genesis 11:8, Deuteronomy 32:8) Corruption is working to even degrade mankind to an animal status and then to property by imposing technological advancements for the price of privacy.
DECEPTION
3 Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?” 4 And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many......11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.......Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe it. 24 For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. 25 See, I have told you beforehand. (Matthew 24:3-5, 11, 23-25)
As we approach the day of the LORD we must remain disciplined in our faith, diligent in our worship to God. Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. (Matthew 26:41)
There is a strong attack on biblical truth through various false religions, demonic cults, apostate post-christian sects and denominations that compromise on the truth of God's word. Ecumenism is an idea of unity through compromise of the truth. Just as God is working to unite the world onto Himself the devil and his agents work constantly to fake everything God creates, in order to destroy mankind made in the image of God - Whom he hates. We must be watchful of the events unfolding before our eyes and prepare ourselves for the trials that will come upon the whole earth.
SPIRITUAL DECEPTION
Spiritual deception is a phenomenon as old as time. From the deception in the garden of Eden to the latest deceptions of the antichrist to come, the author is still the same Satan. He is the the adversary of God and deceiver of mankind. He impersonates messengers of God and perverts truth into lies, then delivers the destructive ideas wrapped in temptation. Being deceived by the devil people commit sin - transgression against God's will which brings forth death and eternal separation from God. Just as much as rat poison is mostly good food with a tiny percentage of poison that kills them. It only takes to change a few small details of the doctrine of faith to lead astray from the truth. There are lots of religions today that claim to be a path to enlightenment or afterlife but they contradict one another at many levels and do not correspond to spiritual reality. The Holy Bible is the only valid and tested source for spiritual reality that is consistent and complete.
As the forefathers were deceived in the garden of Eden so do many other cultures and nations have fallen into the same fate of destruction. Humans are made to worship God yet through deception they have worshiped all kinds of creatures and statues made of different materials such as rock or metal. There were events that brought about various religions through spiritual manifestations or apparitions. One such example is the rise of Islam. The story goes that an angel appeared to Muhammad in a cave and taught him teachings to conquer other nations.

"Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;" - (1 Timothy 4:1) As New Age revived ancient mysticism in the last few centuries - we can see the onset of great deceptions coming onto the scene.

In 1986 John Paul II acknowledged all religions to be equal in an attempt to unite them all into one.

God’s healing through His word was replaced by psychology - inspired by the psychics and channelers of demonic spirits. Temple worship turned to secret organizations and cults. Church of God corrupted by greed and pride for fame and power. Music to worship God turned to praise of menkind and idolatry. The Law of God that would ensure order and protect life is corrupted by greed, bribery and hypocrisy. Law enforced by threat to life and threat to freedoms instead of love and comparison. Family union of man and woman perverted to homosexual contracts. Unconditional love turned to conditional business commitment leading to divorce as a legal option. Family roles of men and women corrupted by the culture, media and those in power. True love and intimacy are replaced by instant gratification through adultery and immorality leading to broken relationships. The corrupted family unit increases crime and government control.
Spiritual deception is a phenomenon as old as time. From the deception in the garden of Eden to the latest mystical deceptions the author is still the same; Satan - the adversary of God and deceiver of mankind made in the image of God. He impersonates messengers of God and perverts truth then delivers the destructive ideas wrapped in temptation which bring separation from God and death.

Although this seems very dramatic it is only one side of the perspective of the last days. All of these are the signs of increasing moral perversion that will only escalate until the day of the LORD. Those who are still faithful and alive in that time will have God keeping them from such evils through the word of God and His power. Jesus said in His prayer: "I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one." - (John 17:15)

There are many times in the old and new testaments where God announces the signs of His coming and describing in very vivid detail the events that must come to pass before He established His kingdom upon the earth. Concerning prophetic revelations mentioned throughout the bible we must have discernment to recognize that the events described are not in linear chronological order.

The fifth seal describes the persecution of all those who walk before God and seek do His will. People worshiping the true God have always been persecuted and killed throughout history and will continue to be oppressed and destroyed until the day Jesus establishes His eternal kingdom. There are many verses in revelation that describe future persecution of Christians through socioeconomic means and eventually through death. This seal also implies the slain children of God are in His presence in some form until the day of resurrection when they will receive the promise of the new life.
Suddenly in the sixth seal we read that the day of God's wrath has come with irreversible global changes that would make life impossible to continue. Everyone from rich to slave acknowledges God and hide from fear of God, yet the later chapters do not describe people who were hiding from God. Life goes on as usual because the sixth seal pertains the last day not the great tribulation. This seal will be the last day of that tribulation and a beginning of God's condemnation of the world prior to establishing His kingdom. The seventh seal only describes silence; in the analogy to the the preface this is a blank page just before we read the content of the book.

BABYLON
The Book of revelation of Jesus Christ was dictated to John the Apostle in a similar way as other prophetic books of the old testament. So the events described are not necessarily in order and may overlap quite a bit. These four horsemen described by the removal of the first four seals represent a common theme rather than actual events. The first horseman is a rider of conquest. Kingdoms have rose and fallen from generation to generation since the beginning of creation and will continue until the day that God established His eternal kingdom. Conquests have always drought war since every tribe and person has a sense of self preservation through self defense. Those with more advanced weapons will lead. This is the second horseman that has run through the nations since the beginning of conquests until the last day that God established His kingdom against the will of those who defy Him. The third rider brings starvation and loss of daily sustenance once the rider of war passes with the conquest. Finally the fourth rider of death comes through to collect those who have fallen in conquest through war, environmental calamities, starvation and disease. These are the first four seals that reveal the scroll prior to it being read. These seals are more compared to a preface of the revelation.
